So CUPE is fighting the Alward government on the decision to not do a stand alone blood clinic in the province.
Maybe CUPE could just take the additional cost to operate the blood centre from its own members in increased union dues.
The government made the right decision on the blood centre, save some money and get the blood from Halifax.
CUPE has been sucking up taxpayer money so long they think it a bottomless well. Finally maybe a government has stood up to them on something, hopefully leading to more good decisions like this one.
